Amritsar, Nov. 19 -- Akal Takht acting jathedar and Takht Kesgarh Sahib jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj on Tuesday summoned Punjab tourism and cultural affairs minister Tarunpreet Singh Sondh over an "objectionable" presentation displayed by the state government at the Bhai Jeevan Singh Memorial in Anandpur Sahib, alleging it violated "Sikh principles and maryada". The minister has been asked to appear before the Akal Takht Secretariat within a week, while the department's director must submit a written reply.
