Pre-independence and Krishna Janamashtmi event at BVM School
Ludhiana, Aug. 18 -- Saluting the nation and its freedom fighters on the eve of 'Chetna Diwas' & Pre Independence and Krishna Janamashtmi as a symbol of the end of darkness, BVM Sector-39, Chandigarh Road, organised a plethora of performances for Classes Balvatika to 9 and 11 including dances on patriotic themes, poetic recitations, role play, Poster making,slogan writing, One act play, Declamations, Fancy Dress, Bhajan Gayan, Story Telling, Act on Krishna Updesh and Krishna Sudama Act etc.
Blooming buds of Balvatika lent a rip- roaring flavour when they portrayed themselves as the great freedom fighters during the rally.
The students, dressed in the vibrant colours of the nation - green, white and saffron - performed a medley of heart touching patriotic songs.
The students performed various solo, duet, group dances and presented Tableaux depicting the different phases of life of Lord Krishna's life like Bal Gopal Janam, Krishna Arjun Conversation etc were the limelight of the day.
Principal of BVM School, Upasna Modgil while addressing the audience said that Independence Day is a reminder of the responsibilities we have as citizens of this great nation and also inspired them to have deep insight into core principles of Hinduism such as dharma, karma and bhakti which can foster tolerance, empathy, and a broader understanding of diverse religious beliefs among students....
