India, Aug. 10 -- Prateek Kuhad's career has seen a major upturn in recent years after he became the first Indian artiste to sign with a major American label. The singer-songwriter says the West is opening up to working with talents from India. "I guess there's no disparity anymore. Everybody is trying to be fair. I got signed despite being an Indian.
