Sportspersons across disciplines reported improved access to government facilities, particularly the Sector 42 Stadium and Sector 7 Sports Complex. The administration alsodisbursed cash awards and scholarships to the tune of Rs.10.18 crore to athletes in line with the prescribed timelines. What it means: The policy has reduced long-standing delays in disbursement of financial incentives, improving athletes' morale and letting them focus on their game.
