The outing was not just a recreational event but an educational experience aimed at nurturing the school's continuous efforts to promote inclusive education, emotional intelligence, and value-based learning beyond the classroom.
The movie highlights the celebration of neuro-diversity and the untapped potential of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Centered around a basketball coach who mentors a team of young players with Down syndrome and other intellectual challenges, the film beautifully portrays themes of empathy, perseverance, and the transformative power of belief.
The students were deeply moved by the film's powerful message. It sparked meaningful conversations around acceptance, respect, and inclusion-values that PML SD Public School continually strives to instil in its students. 'Sitaare Zameen Par' serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 film 'Taare Zameen Par'. It tells a touching story while addressing important issues through an engaging and entertaining narrative.
