Chandigarh, Dec. 16 -- Pandit Mohan Lal SD Public School successfully hosted an awareness event under Project DROP (2025-26 Phase 3), a CSR initiative of Kia India, implemented by the Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA). The programme focused on empowering students with knowledge about plastic waste management and encouraging responsible environmental behaviour. As part of the initiative, the NGO team presented an impactful nukkad natak (street play) highlighting the urgent need to reduce, segregate, and recycle plastic waste. The performance effectively conveyed how small everyday actions can protect the environment and contribute to a cleaner and greener future. To make the initiative practical and continuous, the NGO has also placed a special plastic waste collection dustbin within the school premises. Students are encouraged to dispose of plastic items such as wrappers and bottles in this designated bin.
