Chandigarh, Nov. 20 -- A woman, walking along the Hallomajra light point slip road, was run over by a pick-up truck on Tuesday. As per the police, the victim, identified as Sharda, was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment. A case has been registered under Sections 281 (rash or negligent driving on a public way) and 106(1) (death by negligence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against the pick-up driver, identified as Mohit, a resident of Hallomajra. He was arrested but later let off on bail....
