Parked motorcycle torched in Ram Darbar
Chandigarh, March 29 -- A motorcycle parked outside a house in Phase 2, Ram Darbar, was allegedly set on fire on Friday.
The family accused their daughter-in-law of orchestrating the attack due tostrained marital relations.
According to a complaint submitted at the Sector 31 police station, Meena Choudhary, 45, alleged that the incident took place around 1.40 am outside her house.
Choudhary said her son Vikram married Radhika in 2018, but the couple separated within a year following frequent domestic disputes. She alleged that since then, Radhika had been harbouring resentment towards her son and their family, and had also issued threats.
The complainant accused Radhika of sending unknown persons to carry out the arson attack. She further alleged that her family's life was under threat. A case was registered at the Sector 31 police station. The motorcycle was completely damaged in the fire. No injuries were reported....
