Panchkula DCP assumes office, reviews traffic, law & order
Panchkula, March 25 -- Amarinder Singh, a 2021-batch IPS officer, assumed charge as the deputy commissioner of police (DCP), crime and traffic, in Panchkula on Tuesday. His transfer order was issued by the Haryana government recently.
He was previously posted as additional superintendent of police (ASP) in Yamunanagar. Soon after taking the charge, Singh held a meeting with officers to review the district's law and order, crime situation and traffic management.
Meanwhile, 2021-batch IPS officer Manpreet Singh Sudan, who earlier held the post, has been transferred and appointed as superintendent of police (SP) in Kaithal. htc...
