Panchkula, Jan. 21 -- Panchkula local police have launched a rigorous enforcement campaign against drunk driving to improve road safety across the city. Traffic police personnel are conducting regular inspections using alco-sensors at various major routes and sensitive locations to identify and penalise violators. The crackdown has seen significant results in the first 19 days of January. A total of 523 drivers were issued challans for operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol.
