Panchkula, Dec. 4 -- District police executed a comprehensive anti-crime drive in November, targeting organised crime, drug and arms trafficking, theft, snatching, and vehicle theft. The operation led to the arrest of 89 criminals across 64 separate cases. The police recovered five pistols, four country-made revolvers (kattas), one revolver, 16 live cartridges, and one knife, preventing several major potential crimes. Police seized drugs meant for inter-state supply, specifically 988 gm of charas, 410 gm of heroin, 6.675 kg of puppy husk, and 1.342 kg of opium. Police also recovered stolen items including three cars, four e-rickshaws, one auto, one tractor, one bike, Rs.5.44 lakh in cash, and jewellery worth Rs.8 lakh....
