Chandigarh, Jan. 2 -- The 7-day NSS Special Camp at KB DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 7-B, which commenced on December 24, 2025 concluded on December 30 with a positive and spirited valedictory ceremony. Neena Kalia, deputy director, education department, UT Chandigarh, attended the event as the chief guest. The programme began with the welcome of the chief guest. A PowerPoint presentation provided a glimpse into the eventful seven days of the camp. The video of the Nukkad Natak performed during the camp by the volunteers was played, earning much applause from the audience. Vaibhavi, a volunteer, highlighted the significance of NSS in a student's life, while Adheesh recited a heartfelt poem on its values. Volunteers also presented creative charts addressing various critical issues. Neena Kalia addressed the gathering, motivating the students to carry forward the spirit of NSS in their future endeavours. She emphasised how NSS not only shapes individual growth but also contributes to the Nation's development. Titles were awarded to outstanding volunteers in recognition of their efforts.
