Networking of People in Construction marks its 1st anniversary
India, May 10 -- The vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to achieve 'Viksit Bharat @2047' is well within reach, provided there is collective effort from society and professionals across all sectors, said Rajya Sabha member Satnam Singh Sandhu. Highlighting the indispensable role of the construction and architectural sectors in this mission, he described these professionals as 'pujaris' (priests) of Lord Vishwakarma. He said so while addressing the session: 'Beyond Lines 2025', an intellectual gathering organised by Networking of People in Construction (NPC) to mark its first anniversary at Hotel Novotel.
Emphasising the importance of strategic thinking in urban development, Sandhu urged the construction fraternity to actively contribute their ideas and insights for the master planning of the city.
Earlier in their addresses, NPC national president Yogesh Jagarmaka and guest of honour Zafar Chaudhary highlighted that with collaborative efforts and forward-thinking ideas, construction professionals have the potential to build numerous smart cities that truly reflect the aspirations of a developed nation. Supporting this vision, NPC Chandigarh president Ravijeet Singh and vice-president Prabhjot Kaur presented the annual report which outlined the chapter's achievements over the past year.
Later, MP Sandhu honoured individuals for their outstanding contributions in their respective fields, applauding their commitment to excellence. The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries from the construction, policy and academic sectors who shared insights.
