National Service Scheme (NSS) camp culminates at Bhavan Vidyalaya
Panchkula, Jan. 2 -- Bhavan Vidyalaya marked the successful culmination of its seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) Camp with a closing ceremony filled with reflection, gratitude and a renewed spirit of service.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation of NSS volunteers who engaged in a wide range of activities aimed at community service, social awareness, health, discipline and nation-building.
Throughout the week, the volunteers took part in yoga and meditation sessions, educational exposure visits, traffic awareness programmes, visits to an old age home and interactions with various community service departments. These activities helped inculcate values of empathy, responsibility, teamwork and civic sense among the students.
District NSS Officer Arvind Kumar addressed the volunteers and motivated them to remain committed to social service and community welfare.
Addressing the volunteers, the principal Gulshan Kaur, lauded their dedication and discipline, emphasising that NSS is not merely a camp but a way of life that nurtures responsible and compassionate citizens.
