Ludhiana, May 14 -- Mount International School, in association with civil hospital, Ludhiana commemorated a blood donation drive in the school premises under the slogan 'Give blood, Preserve life'. To kick off the event, the school's director, Vishal Garg set an example by donating his own blood. Following this, students, educators, and other staff members eagerly joined in to donate blood. The purpose of this drive was to enhance awareness about blood donation within the student community, to sensitise students and to support those in need. Every individual who donated blood received a certificate and a medal as recognition. After the donation, nutritious meals were provided to the donors. The health department team conducted health screenings for the blood donors and collected blood safely. This campaign not only highlighted the importance of blood donation but also nurtured a sense of community service. The principal of Mount International School, Daljit Kaur Bhangoo, played a crucial role in the organisation of this drive.
