Chandigarh, July 2 -- Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh conducted a 4-night, 3-day experiential learning trip to Jim Corbett National Park from May 31 to June 4 for students of Class 11 and 12. The trip was conducted under the guidance of the founders and directors, Earnest Charles J Samuel and Annie Charles Samuel, and with the support of principal Parveena John Singh. The educational adventure was thoughtfully designed to foster leadership, teamwork, and environmental consciousness. Students engaged in an exciting range of activities including jungle safaris, trekking, zip-lining, river crossing, catapult making, and first-aid and evacuation drills. Mornings began with prayers, followed by a variety of adventure games and team-building challenges, all of which helped inculcate a spirit of unity, discipline, and resilience. The trip concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony, during which students were felicitated for their spirited participation and enthusiasm. Reflecting on the success of the programme, principal Parveena John Singh remarked, "Mount Carmel School believes in holistic education that goes beyond the classroom. This trip helped students discover their strengths while connecting with nature."
