Chandigarh, Nov. 11 -- Under the aegis of the founders and directors, Earnest Charles J Samuel and Annie Charles Samuel, along with the principal Parveena John Singh, Mount Carmel School, organised a mock fire drill in the school premises. The activity aimed to create awareness among students and staff about fire safety measures and emergency response procedures. The demonstration included evacuation techniques, use of fire extinguishers, and safety protocols to be followed during a fire emergency. The safety officer explained the correct use of fire extinguishers and shared important tips on how to stay safe during a fire. He also emphasised the importance of remaining calm and cooperating with others in such situations. Trained personnel guided students through the step-by-step evacuation process, emphasising the importance of calmness, coordination, and quick action. The fire drill was conducted successfully and proved to be a valuable learning experience, making everyone more aware and prepared for unforeseen emergencies.
