Chandigarh, Dec. 26 -- Mount Carmel School's much-awaited Winter Carnival, MCC 2025, was a resounding success, drawing an enthusiastic crowd from across the Tricity. Organised under the guidance of the founders and directors of Mount Carmel Schools, Earnest Charles J Samuel and Annie Charles Samuel, along with the principal Parveena John Singh, the two-day extravaganza proved to be a memorable celebration of talent, creativity, and joy. Hosted at Mount Carmel School, Sector 47, Chandigarh, the carnival witnessed an impressive turnout on both days. Students took charge of decorating and managing the stalls, transforming the campus into a lively and colourful marketplace. A wide array of food stalls, exciting rides, and fun-filled games catered to visitors of all age groups. The stage remained vibrant with energetic dance and music performances, while students from various schools across the Tricity showcased their talents in events such as the Inter-School Rock Band Competition, Inter-School Solo Mime Competition, and the Talent Show for Parents. The first day of the carnival was graced by Rajinder Singh, IPS, Former Director General of Police, Punjab, as the chief guest, with Sumit Srivastava, principal of DhanwantryAyurvedic College and Hospital, Chandigarh, as the Guest of Honour. One of the major highlights of the carnival was the MCC Fashion Show, featuring the much-awaited Mr & Miss MCC 2025, a contest for Class 10 students of the School. Seher Kaushal was crowned Miss MCC 2025, while Jairaj Singh Lathar earned the title of Mr MCC 2025, receiving thunderous applause from the audience. Adding to the excitement, the lucky draw of the raffle draw coupons kept the visitors eagerly engaged throughout the carnival. The lucky winners were awarded attractive prizes, including a 46-inch LED TV as the first prize, a washing machine as the second prize, a microwave oven as the third prize, Air Fryer as the fourth prize along with several other consolation prizes, making the draw one of the most anticipated segments of the event.
