Panchkula, Oct. 10 -- Moti Ram Arya Modern Public School, Sector-7, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti, paying tribute to the Father of the Nation. The event aimed to spread the message of peace and cleanliness, as advocated by Mahatma Gandhi. A special assembly was organised, featuring clips from Gandhiji's childhood and his Satyagraha movements. Students paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi through bhajans and reflections on his teachings. The Peace and Harmony Club, in collaboration with NGO Parivartan, organized a rally to promote Gandhiji's message of peace and cleanliness. The participants distributed cotton cloth bags to shopkeepers and customers in Sector-7 Panchkula market, encouraging them to discard plastic and non-biodegradable products. The students and club members participated in a cleanliness campaign, collecting litter and promoting a cleaner environment. The principal Ritu Mago appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to uphold the values of Gandhi in their lives.
