Panchkula, Dec. 18 -- Moti Ram Arya Modern Public School, Sector-7, celebrated its two-day Annual Sports Fiesta at Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary Model School, Sector-27, Chandigarh. The occasion was graced by eminent chief guests. Major General Bharat Mehtani, a distinguished officer of the Indian Army, and Brigadier VC Chouhan honoured the event on the first day. On the second day, the presence of renowned former cricketer Amit Uniyal inspired the students and added prestige to the celebration. All four houses showcased discipline and perfect coordination through an impressive March Past, with Rig House being adjudged the Best House in March Past. Various track events and races were conducted, and the winners were honoured with medals. Atharv House and Yajur House jointly received the Overall Trophy for winning the maximum number of gold medals. Parents also enthusiastically participated in the sports events and were duly acknowledged by the school management. The adorable tiny tots captivated the audience with their delightful Umbrella Dance, Dumbbell Dance, and Lazim Dance, reflecting strength, focus, and boundless enthusiasm. The celebrations reached a crescendo with energetic Bhangra performances, filling the stage with the soul-stirring rhythms of Punjab. These moments truly reflected strength, colour, and enthusiasm. Addressing the gathering, Anil Mahajan, president, highlighted the school's vision of holistic education, emphasising the importance of physical fitness, discipline, and character building alongside academic excellence.
