Mohali, Jan. 14 -- Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Mohali, Kulwant Singh, announced that an ultra-modern building would soon be allotted to the Press Club, SAS Nagar. He made the announcement while attending a Lohri celebration organised by the Press Club, SAS Nagar on Tuesday. Participating in the festivities along with members of the press fraternity, the MLA extended Lohri greetings and wished for the prosperity of the state. Highlighting the long-pending demand of journalists, the MLA stressed the need for a dedicated Press Club. He said it was essential for journalists to have a common platform where they could come together to discuss issues related to their families, profession and society. "Our government will soon allot modern building for Press Club in Mohali soon. At present, journalists have to visit different venues, but having a fixed location will facilitate better coordination and information sharing," he said.
