Mohali DC inspects Kharar Landran Road, directs NHAI to expedite repairs
Mohali, Sept. 7 -- Commuters on the Kharar-Landran Road will soon find relief from weeks of traffic snarls, potholes, and waterlogging as repairs on the crucial stretch are set to be completed within the next 20 days. This assurance came from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) officials during a site inspection by deputy commissioner (DC) Komal Mittal on Saturday.

This road had been in a state of disrepair since sewer and stormwater lines were laid. The DC stated that this stretch, which is a key connector between the Kharar-Landran and Chandigarh-Kharar roads, would be repaired on priority to meet a key demand from residents.
Officials present during the inspection and inauguration included ADC (UD) Anmol Singh Dhaliwal, Kharar SDM Divya P, Kharar MC Executive Officer Sukhdev Singh, and senior NHAI officials....
