MEERUT, Jan. 23 -- Bodies of a Hindu woman and a Muslim man, who were missing for three days, have been found buried in a field in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad district with police arresting the woman's two brothers in a suspected case of hate crime. The bodies of Armaan Chaudhary (24) and Kajal Saini (20), both residents of Umri Sabzipur in Moradabad, were recovered from a pit near the Neem Karoli Baba temple on the banks of the Ganga river on Wednesday night, senior superintendent of police Satpal Antil said. Police said the couple was reportedly in a relationship for the past two years. "On Sunday night, Chaudhary allegedly went to Saini's house to meet her, where her family members caught them. Preliminary findings suggest that Saini's relatives, who opposed the relationship, killed the couple that night itself," said an officer aware of the matter. "To destroy evidence, the accused allegedly transported the bodies out of the village and buried them near the ashram along the Ganga riverbank," he added....
