Chandigarh, Sept. 21 -- After days of rain and cloud cover, residents felt the heat on Saturday as the sun made a bright comeback. With the skies clearing up, the maximum temperature rose from 33.8degC on Friday to 34.1degC on Saturday, one degree above normal. The night, however, felt cooler as the minimum temperature dropped from 24.5degC to 22.8degC, 1.4 degree below normal. According to the India Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain mostly sunny in the coming week.
