India, Jan. 9 -- Over the years, filmmaker Rohit Shetty has entertained audiences with films such as the Golmaal franchise, Singham, and more. However, awards eluded him. At a recent event, Rohit took a humorous dig at himself, saying that he has no relationship with accolades. "Mera aur awards ka door-door tak koi rishta nahi hai. 17 filmein ho gayi hain, sirf hosting ke liye jaata hoon," he said. Rohit also spoke about the North-South film debate saying, "If no one asks this question, then everyone will simply celebrate films." He added, "Ever since cinema began, production houses and directors from there have been making films here, and films from here have been made in the South.
