Panchkula, Nov. 13 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised an enlightening capacity building programme (CBP) on mental health and well-being among students at DC Model Sr Sec School, with the objective of promoting emotional resilience, empathy, and psychological awareness among educators. The resource persons for the programme were Sarika and Vishwas Chadha, educationists and certified CBSE trainers, who shared valuable insights on addressing the emotional and behavioural needs of students in today's challenging academic environment. Through interactive discussions, activities, and case studies, the experts guided teachers on identifying early signs of stress, anxiety, and emotional imbalance among learners. They emphasised the need to cultivate supportive classroom environments where every student feels safe, understood, and motivated to learn. The sessions also highlighted the significance of teacher well-being, encouraging educators to practice mindfulness and self-care.
