Chandigarh, Feb. 5 -- The municipal corporation's (MC) smart parking initiative has crossed 2,000 subscribers milestone in just about a week. Launched to streamline parking operations and eliminate the inconvenience of daily cash payments, the initiative- MC One Pass- offers commuters seamless monthly parking with Rs.250 for two-wheelers and Rs.500 for four-wheelers - across designated MC parking sites in the city. MC commissioner Amit Kumar said the rapid growth from launch to over 2,000 subscribers reflects success of technology-driven initiatives focused on ease of living, accountability and convenience.
