Rohtak, Nov. 12 -- Fatehabad police on Tuesday arrested a travel agent for allegedly duping two youths of Rs.11 lakh on the pretext of sending them to Germany. The accused has been identified as Praveen Suthar and his aide Sanjay is absconding. In their complaints to the police on September 18, two youths- Rajesh Kumar and Sushil from different villages of Fatehabad district, said that they came in contact with travel agents in October last year. "The agents promised to help us to settle us in Germany for Rs.5 lakh each. On October 29 last year, we took a flight to Dubai and the agents told us to stay there for three months. They took Rs.11 lakh in total from us. When they failed to send us to Germany, we sought our passports and we came back to India. After our return, they refused to return our money," the complainants added. A spokesperson of Fatehabad police said that a travel agent Praveen has been arrested and efforts are on to arrest his partner. htc...
