Kolkata, April 1 -- West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday urged people not to fall for provocations that could incite communal violence and appeared to accuse the BJP of inciting communal riots through its "divisive politics", alleging that the party's "ganda dharma" (dirty religion) was against Hinduism. The BJP responded sharply to the remark, and asked if she referred to the Hindu religion as "ganda dharma"....
