Mohali, Dec. 11 -- Zirakpur police have arrested one of the main accused in the September 28-29 midnight firing outside the Zirakpur bus stand, in which two men, Gurvinder and a tea stall owner's father, were seriously injured. Police arrested accused Vijay alias Bharat, a native of Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh, currently living in Kundi Sector-20, Panchkula. During the assault, the attackers fired three rounds, injuring One Gurvinder Singh and the tea stall owner's father. Gurvinder Singh of Nagla village, is still recovering and has not regained full health. Following Deepak's complaint, police registered a case under Sections 109, 115(2), 118(1), 190 of the BNS and the Arms Act. Earlier, police had arrested three suspects Mukesh Kumar of Uttar Pradesh, Shaukat Ali alias Prince of Bihar and Shivam Dubey of Uttar Pradesh. Police also arrested his associate Deepak (26), originally from Unnao and now residing in Sector-8B, Industrial Area, Mohali.
