Barnala, Dec. 27 -- A live-in couple from Tallewal village of Barnala allegedly died by suicide during the intervening night of Thursday and Friday following the "failure" of the man's fast food business. Police said that the man, aged 30, reportedly took his own life by hanging. His 29-year-old partner, distressed by his death, died later that same day after consuming poison, said the deputy superintendent of police, Mehal Kalan, Jaspal Singh on Friday.
