Silchar, Jan. 3 -- The family members of late singer Zubeen Garg on Friday announced the formation of the Zubeen Garg Trust, an initiative aimed at preserving his artistic legacy and carrying forward his "commitment to society, culture and young talent". Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, Zubeen's wife Garima Garg said the trust has been created to ensure that Zubeen Garg's ideals, creativity and dedication to the people of Assam continue to inspire future generations She said the under-construction residence of the singer at Kharghuli in Guwahati will be handedover to the trust and used for social, cultural and creative activities. Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday announced that Rs.2.90 crore collected in GST on Zubeen's last feature film "Roi Roi Binale" would be handed over to the trust. htc...
