Kundan International School celebrates 19th Founders Day
Chandigarh, Oct. 17 -- Kundan International School, Sector 46-B, celebrated its 19th founder's day, honouring the legacy of its founder, Rai Sahib Shri Kundan Lal - an educationist, philanthropist, and freedom fighter. The celebration marked a tribute to his dream of empowering young minds through education, innovation, and values.
The event was attended by Amit Kumar, IAS, municipal commissioner, Chandigarh, as the chief guest, along with the trust members of Shri Kundan Lal Trust: president Ramesh Agarwal, secretary Ashwani Kumar, treasurer Kapil Gupta, Rajesh Tuteja and other dignitaries.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp ceremony, followed by Saraswati Vandana. The cultural extravaganza titled "Viksit Bharat - The Developing India" beautifully showcased India's journey from heritage to high-tech, blending tradition with innovation through captivating dances, skits, and musical performances by students.
The audience witnessed a series of thematic presentations - from Gurukul to Digital Era, Greenery to Urbanisation, and Women Empowerment, highlighting the evolution of education, technology, and societal growth. School principal Yogesh Jadli presented the annual report, reflecting the institution's milestones and achievements. The celebration also featured a felicitation ceremony recognising outstanding students and teachers.Manjot Kaur and Satyam Kaushik were honoured as school toppers. Ishmeet Sidhu received the Student of the Year Award, while Pratham Kumar was awarded Digital Dynamo, among other category-wise honours.
