Chandigarh, March 31 -- Kids 'R' Kids Secondary School hosted a two-day CBSE capacity building programme on experiential learning frameworks on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing together educators from the region to explore practical pedagogical strategies that enhance conceptual understanding. Designed in alignment with NEP 2020, it emphasised competency-based, inquiry-driven, and interdisciplinary methodologies, focusing on tools to foster critical thinking, creativity, and real-world application in the classroom. The sessions were led by Manjari Tejpal, principal, Gems Public School, Patiala, and Raina Chona, vice-principal, Smart Wonders School, Mohali. Both experts brought experience in curriculum innovation and instructional design, providing participants with insights into cognitive engagement techniques and practices for skill integration. Interactive workshops, collaborative discussions, and hands-on activities were held to redefine instruction. The focus was on creating student-centered and application-based experiences that align with CBSE's education model.
