Mohali, July 23 -- The sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) Divya P has issued a stern warning against overcharging by deed writers or any collection of money in the name of sub-registrars. The move aims to ensure transparency and accountability in revenue-related services across the Kharar sub-division. SDM stated that such practice will be dealt with strictly and no leniency will be shown. Highlighting the impact of reforms, SDM Divya P said that the recently introduced 'Easy Registry' system has significantly streamlined the registration process by making it digital and uninterrupted, thereby ensuring greater transparency.
