India, May 19 -- She has worked in films across different languages in South cinema, but Keerthy Suresh, 32, couldn't mark her Bollywood debut until last year. The the National Film Award-winning actor was seen in Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John. Keerthy says, "My Hindi debut took a while, but it's not that I wasn't offered any films. Unfortunately, some of them didn't work out. In fact, I was supposed to shoot for a Hindi film in 2018, but I had to leave that project." The actor, who is looking forward to "sign another Hindi film this year", adds, "I think there is a right time for everything. I was looking out for something interesting to start with and I'm so glad that it started with Baby John." Keerthy adds that "being a star down South or having a National Film Award" didn't influence the timing of her decision to venture into Bollywood. She explains: "The only factors that impacted my decision were my passion and drive to try different kinds of films, be it in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil or Malayalam. At some point, I'd love to do a Kannada or a Marathi film, too. For that matter, why not end up in Hollywood?" While balancing projects in different languages could be challenging, Keerthy enjoys that. "I try to strike a balance, as they are all equally important to me. I am looking forward to signing another Hindi film this year. I might also sign two Telugu films and a Malayalam film," she ends....
