Chandigarh, Jan. 1 -- Day 6 of the NSS Special Camp was organised with a focus on enhancing mental well-being, career awareness, financial knowledge, and digital safety among the volunteers. The day witnessed a series of informative and value-oriented sessions conducted by eminent resource persons. The day began with a session on Increasing Concentration by Sister Neha from Brahma Kumaris, who emphasized the importance of inner peace, mindfulness, and meditation for improving focus, emotional balance, and overall mental health. This was followed by a career counselling session by Kuldeep Singh Topwal, who guided the volunteers on career planning, identifying strengths, and making informed career choices. The session motivated students to set clear goals and work towards a successful future. A session on Financial Literacy was conducted by Ritu Chauhan from MCM DAV College, during which volunteers were made aware of basic financial concepts such as saving, budgeting, and responsible financial management, essential for leading a secure and independent life. The day concluded with an enlightening session on Cyber Security by Lavya, a Cyber Soldier from MCM DAV College, who sensitised the volunteers about cyber threats, safe online practices, and the importance of digital responsibility in the modern era.
