Chandigarh, May 1 -- In a significant administrative shift in Chandigarh, IAS officer D Karthikeyan joined the UT administration on Thursday and assumed charge of several major portfolios. In his new role, Karthikeyan has been given the charge of secretary, technology, vigilance, agriculture, and the Agricultural Marketing Board; he will also serve as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Chandigarh Housing Board.
