JPA Toddlers' World Preschool marks World Meditation Day
Panchkula, Jan. 12 -- World Meditation Day was celebrated by the children, teachers, and the entire staff of JPA Toddlers' World Preschool, Sector 10, who came together to meditate in the serene surroundings of the school lawns.
The school livestreamed this meditation session from its premises so that the parents could join the children online, while the children meditated in the school grounds.
This made it a truly unifying experience, as children, parents, and teachers meditated together to add to the positive vibrations of the world on World Meditation Day. For over two decades, the school has been effortlessly integrating meditation into its daily routine.
Children in the age group of 2 to 5 years practice meditation each day, thereby nurturing inner peace, focus, and mindfulness from a very young age. The school has also been encouraging parents to meditate regularly along with their children in preparation for the World Meditation Day thereby strengthening the bond of shared mindfulness at home.
Neena Atray, director principal, addressed the parents online and reaffirmed the school's strong commitment to holistic education and nurturing of each child.
Adding depth to the occasion, Brahmachari Saumyanandaji from Yogoda Satsanga Society of India founded by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda, led a guided meditation for parents and shared basic meditation techniques, enriching their understanding of the practice.
