Chandigarh, July 24 -- St Joseph's Senior Secondary School, has etched its name in the annals of eco-leadership by clinching the 'Best Eco Club Award 2024' at the prestigious Paudh Mela 2025, for the sixth consecutive year. Conferred by the department of environment, UT Chandigarh, this honour celebrates the contributions of the Green Saviours Eco Club, guided passionately by G Nithya and steered by the leadership of Principal Monica Chawla. Organised by the department of forests and wildlife, the Paudh Mela was a tribute to nature under the theme of Van Mahotsav. The event drew participation from schools across the city and was graced by Rajeev Sharma, IAS, chief secretary of UT Chandigarh, whose inspiring presence uplifted the green spirit of the gathering.
