India, April 25 -- Nearly two weeks after musicians Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas' mom Denise Jonas revealed that she suffered a stroke, the Jonas brothers shared an update in a joint interview. Denise, 59, revealed suffering a basal ganglia stroke, which she said affected her cognitive thinking, speech and reasoning, but did not disclose the timeline of the incident. "She went through quite a journey, and we're proud of her that she feels comfortable talking about it," Joe said, adding, "I'm sure that will encourage a lot of other people out there." Kevin added, "She's a very strong woman, and someone that's amazing to look up to our whole life, and learn how to not only act around women, but also how to respect women." He also called her their "superhero": "Our mom is our superhero, so I feel like we try to celebrate her every time we're with her or away from her." Nick shared, "We've spent a lot of important days away from our very understanding and loving powerhouse women in our lives. So it's incredible to have that support system going back to our childhood with our mother." htc...
