Inter-house competitions celebrate knowledge at Banyan Tree School
Chandigarh, May 19 -- Banyan Tree School students participated in three inter house competitions - extempore, a social science quiz, and a powerpoint presentation competition, each showcasing their talents in unique ways.
The extempore event was a display of confidence, clarity, and quick thinking. Students from different houses spoke on a range of topics with impressive articulation. Nazam from Class 8 (Prarthana House) secured the first position, followed by Vaishnavi from Class 5 (Prarthana House) in second place, and Pragya from Class 7 (Prerna House) in third. The event encouraged spontaneous thinking and effective communication among participants.
Focused on the themes of heritage and politics, the social science quiz tested students' knowledge and teamwork. It was an intellectually enriching experience, with Prerna House clinching the first place, Prarthana House coming in second, and Abhilasha House taking third. The quiz fostered a spirit of healthy competition and a deeper understanding of India's socio-political fabric.
The powerpoint presentation competition on "Generative AI" brought creativity and research skills to the forefront. Students presented well-designed, insightful presentations exploring the ethical, practical, and futuristic aspects of artificial intelligence (AI). Prerna House once again emerged victorious, followed by Prarthana House in second place and Akanksha House in third.All three events were a grand success, reflecting the students' zeal for learning, innovation, and expression.
