Chandigarh, Jan. 15 -- Injured in a hit-and-run accident on January 1, a one-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries at PGIMER on Tuesday after battling for life for two weeks. As per police, on January 1, Raju, a resident of Mauli Jagran, was returning home from Mansa Devi temple after paying obeisance on New Year's Day. On the way, near Sundar Nagar light point at Mauli Jagran, a Haryana number car hit the e-rickshaw that he was riding with three more adults and four children. Raju was holding his infant son in his lap at the time of the accident. The baby suffered severe injuries and was declared brain dead. He eventually succumbed on Saturday. The Mauli Jagran police have launched a manhunt for the unidentified driver, who has been booked for dangerous driving and causing death by negligence.HTC...
