Washington, Feb. 12 -- Indians constituted merely two per cent of the total number of illegal immigrants in the US, and the absolute number of illegal Indian immigrants in America dropped from 560,000 in 2015 to 220,000 in 2022, according to the last publicly available data from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). While official data for 2023 isn't available, this means that the proportion of illegal Indian immigrants as a part of the larger Indian population in America dropped from 16.6% in 2015 to 6.9% in 2022....
