Independence Day event at PM SHRI KV 3BRD
Chandigarh, Aug. 21 -- PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya 3BRD, celebrated Independence Day inside the school premises with the staff, students and parents to mark the completion of 79 years of freedom from the British rule.
This Independence Day started with flag hoisting by the school principal Harjinder Kaur and Vice Principal, Mukesh Kumar. This was followed by the National Anthem.The school Principal addressed the gathering appealing to the nationalistic spirit and urging the students to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one's duty with responsibility. She also emphasised the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country.
This was followed by a musical rendition by the school choir which sang patriotic songs that awakened everyone's feelings towards the motherland.
The students from different classes enthralled all with their beautiful musical compositions and displaying of freedom struggle via poem recitation and dance. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity....
