Independence Day celebrated at AKSIPS-41 with patriotic fervour
Chandigarh, Aug. 20 -- AKSIPS-41 celebrated the 79th Independence Day. The celebrations began with the ceremonial hoisting of the national Tricolour by the school principal, Ritu Bali followed by the National Anthem, sung in unity and reverence by all present.
The school director Jasdeep Kalra then addressed the gathering, emphasising the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and encouraging students to be responsible citizens. In his address, the Director reminded the students that the freedom we enjoy today is the result of the immense sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters. He further emphasised that the responsibility now lies with the youth - the Future Nation Builders - to ensure that India becomes a country where everyone can lead a dignified, fulfilling, healthy and happy life. His words inspired everyone to uphold the values of our nation. The school Head Girl, Simar delivered a heartfelt speech, reminding us of our duty towards our country and the importance of youth participation in nation-building. The event concluded with a patriotic song medley performed by the school choir, evoking strong emotions of love for the motherland. The melodies and lyrics left the audience moved and proud to be Indian....
