IMD predicts dense fog for two days in north Haryana
Karnal, Dec. 14 -- The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for dense fog for several districts of north Haryana, even as similar weather conditions were observed in some parts of the state on Saturday, said officials.
The alert has been issued for Sunday and Monday in Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, Panipat and Sonepat districts.
Weather is also likely to remain dry for the next seven days, the IMD said.
Officials said that dense fog was also observed during the morning hours of Saturday, marking the first such instance for the season.
Meanwhile, Hisar recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 6.3 degrees Celsius....
