Chandigarh, March 4 -- The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) have invited applications for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026, the mandatory gateway for admission to undergraduate programmes across all seven campuses - Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupat, for the 2026-27 academic session. The online application process will begin on March 5 and close on April 13. Applicants will be allowed to make corrections in their forms from April 16 to 18. Hall tickets will be released on May 24, while the IAT 2026 will be conducted on June 7 from 9 am to 12 noon in computer based mode. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2024, 2025 or 2026 with at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD) in the science stream are eligible. They must have studied at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, with Mathematics mandatory for select programmes.
