ICSE storytelling competition held at St Xavier's Sen Secondary School
Chandigarh, Aug. 26 -- St Xavier's Senior Secondary School hosted an annual "ICSE inter-school storytelling competition" (junior category) with the themes "Kindness always pays" - This theme likely encouraged students to share stories highlighting the impact of kindness on individuals and communities.
"Every Individual is Unique"- This theme emphasised celebrating diversity and promoting understanding and appreciation of individual differences.
Around 8 teams from ICSE schools of Chandigarh region took part in this annual event enthusiastically. The competition provided a platform for the kids.
Gowri Bhardwaj and Rajinder Kaur were judges for the event. Ivorine Castellas congratulated and gave away prizes to the winners. Additional principal Chandan S Patwal thanked the English department for the grand success of the event. Category-wise results of events were as under: Theme-1: Kindness always pays, first- Ranvita Malik of St Xavier's High School, Sector -20, Panchkula. Second- Anaisha Asit Kishore of St Xavier's Sr Sec School, Sector -44, Chandigarh. Third - Anaya of Holy Family Convent School, Zirakpur.
