NEW DELHI, April 7 -- The Indian Air Force is on course to building its C-295 transport aircraft fleet, with the second aircraft expected to arrive in the country from Spain in April-end ahead of the delivery schedule, officials aware of the matter said on Saturday. IAF inducted its first C-295 transport aircraft at a ceremony attended by defence minister Rajnath Singh, IAF chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari and other top officials at the Hindan air base last September. "The second aircraft is scheduled to arrive on April 29. The formation of the first C-295 squadron is happening at the desired pace," said one of the officials, asking not to be named....
